How much is delivery & can you explain the delivery options?

UK Standard Mainland UK Delivery is free on orders over £75 but is £6.50 for Mainland UK for under that. No minimum order and a free gift with every order but a free bottle of wine or a cake with every order over £75. Free delivery is up-to 30kg in weight and any extra weight after that is £6.50 per 30kg.....bargain! Orders are usually delivered within 2-3 working days by either our own drivers or a courier.

UK Express is our priority service that costs £8.99 and is not free on any order amount. Orders are usually delivered Next Day and only mainland UK is free over £75, Highlands & Islands along with Saturday delivery is not free and the costs are on the checkout process.

Can I have a trade price list?

We no longer issue trade price lists! We have a large trade database in the UK, one of the biggest, so for Trade prices simple e-mail us for a Trade Only Password!

Our trade division is one of the largest in the UK and supply a huge amount of customers. We can deliver nationwide within 5 working days, simply e-mail us; sales@theitaliandeli.co.uk for a password to access our trade prices.

Where do you deliver?

The whole of the UK including Northern Island, Isle of Scilly, Isle of Man and Highlands. Certain areas are delivered by our own drivers, otherwise delivery is by Parcelforce.

Do you offer credit?

No, payment is by card online or by phone and we no longer handle cash or cheques. For telephone payments, these are always available but for security reasons we can not take a phone payment over £100.

How long does delivery take?

Usually next day! Every parcel that leaves us is put on a NEXT DAY but the delivery guarantee is 10 working days in case of any stock issue's (which are rare) or courier issues.

If you have ordered Express Next Day and we can not fulfill next day, then we would not charge you for next day. Currently 93% of orders are delivered next day and we would inform you of an expected delivery date first if any delays are expected.

Can I have a weekend delivery?

Yes you can! Simply select the Saturday Delivery option which costs £19.99 and is no longer free over £75.

I have tried to call you but you have not answered the phone....are you still trading?

Of course we are, but we are usually very busy, so we respond to e-mails 5 days a week, but the phones do take a long time for us to answer so for a guaranteed answer to your query, just drop us a e-mail! The current e-mail response time is just over 2 hours but guaranteed replies are for 24 hours during standard working hours excluding bank holidays! 

One of the reasons our prices are so low is that we don't pay someone to sit at the end of a phone...un-like others!

Are you VAT Registered - and can I have your VAT Number?

Of course we are! Simply quote your order number and we will forward you a VAT receipt by post!

Are you a safe company to deal with?

We would not have it any other way!

What is advertised in what you will receive...to the exact weight and exact description, guaranteed and if you are still not happy you can return your order for a full refund!

How come your prices are so low?

Because of our buying power. We buy in bulk and our trade division is one of the largest in the UK. Our trade division have a huge purchasing power and this is always reflected in our prices. We have a massive range that is updated daily.

Why have I not seen this website before?

Well we used to supply the Trade only, then in Jaunary 2009 we decided to launch our buy online retail website and the response has been huge! We have heard many fustrated customers who have been longing for a deli like us, where we have a huge range of wine and food!

Any other online Deli is either too expensive or their range is too little or their websites are out of date....not us!

Can I collect my order?

Why bother......delivery is only £6.50 or free over £75....but due to Health and Safety Regulations and the Licencing Act we are not allowed to serve a member of public on our permises!

How safe are the payment page's?

The Safest! When you get through checkout....you can select Paypal, or even better you can pay by barclays EDPQ! With Barclays EDPQ you dont need any account like Paypal requests and you know you are safe!

Our server is 100% secure and we have never had any cases of fraud reported to us!

I ordered UK Next Day but am yet to recieve my order?

If we can not fulfill next day then we would not of charged you next day and your order would be with you within the next few days. This usually depands on how busy we are and we are very sorry if your order was urgent.

We would e-mail you with any expected delay but if you order was urgent we provide a full refund of 100% on the delivery charge. Guaranteed.

I ordered 2-3 day delivery but am yet to recieve my order and you are not answering the phone...should i panic?

The 2-3 day delivery is working day delivery and does not include weekends. so no need to panic! Simply send an e-mail with any query and we will respond stright away;
